Empathy and Engineering!

In Library, 2nd graders are reading Aven Green Sleuthing Machine by Dusti Bowling.  The main character Aven was born without arms and has learned how to complete daily tasks using just her feet and mouth. Our students planned cup towers to build with their feet to try and understand how people like Aven can learn use their bodies in different ways and be successful at it!  They did a great job!
