Macdonough Elementary School Receives $5,000 Donation from New Burlington Store
Middletown – Burlington Stores, a major off-price retailer offering WOW deals on customers’ favorite brands for the entire family and home, through its partnership with the national non-profit organization, AdoptAClassroom.org, has donated $5,000 towards school supplies to Middletown’s Macdonough Elementary School in celebration of its new store now open in Cromwell at 45 Shunpike Road, Suite 20, Cromwell, CT 06416
A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation for Macdonough Elementary School, which will provide $5000 in new supplies for school.
According to Principal Reardon, the teachers will use the funds on a number of new classroom items that will enhance the STEM-Based and Project Based Learning that occurs at the school.
“On behalf of the Middletown Public Schools, I would like to welcome our new local Burlington store and thank them and AdoptAClassroom.org for their generous donation to our school,” said Damian Reardon. “Our teachers are so excited to purchase the additional tools to support our programming.
