Our preschool lottery is now open (March 3 to 31, 2025). This is for the school day (6.75 hours per school day) preschool program. Check out the details below.

School Day Preschool Program (6.75 hours)
Program Locations: Bielefield, Snow, and Spencer Elementary Schools
Eligibility: Middletown residents with children born in 2021 (4 years old)
Schedule: 5 days a week, 6.75 hours per day, following Middletown Public Schools calendar
Important Dates
Lottery Opens: Monday, March 3, 2025
Lottery Closes: Monday, March 31, 2025
Results Notification: Week of April 21, 2025
Registration Deadline (if accepted): May 9, 2025
Additional Information
Only one application per child will be accepted
Applications submitted before or after the lottery dates will not be accepted
Acceptance is not guaranteed due to limited availability
Non-accepted families may be placed on a waiting list
Preschool fees will be determined using the Office of Early Childhood's Sliding Fee scale
Transportation availability is income-based
Please do not attempt to register before lottery results are shared unless you are also interested in the part-day program
