We are delighted to announce the appointment of two accomplished education professionals to the positions of elementary school principals. The new appointments, effective in the coming weeks, signify the District’s continued commitment to enhancing leadership and educational excellence in order to serve all students.
Peter Fragola has taken on the role of Principal at Snow Elementary School. He started Monday, December 11, 2023. Mr. Fragola brings with him over 20 years of invaluable experience in education. His journey includes successful tenures as an elementary school teacher, assistant principal, and, most recently, as a school principal in Norwich Public Schools. Known for his passion and dedication, Mr. Fragola is poised to lead Snow Elementary School in its continued upward trajectory.
Norma Delara, appointed as Principal of Bielefield Elementary School, will assume her role starting January 2, 2024. With an impressive career spanning two decades, Ms. Delara has served in various capacities, including elementary and secondary school teacher, middle school assistant principal, and, most recently, as an elementary school principal in New London Public Schools. Recognized as a highly respected leader, Ms. Delara will enhance Bielefield Elementary School’s inclusive and advancing environment.
